Job Description

This position places the professional at the center of workforce administration and global expansion, serving as a key business partner rather than a traditional service provider. The person in this role will handle the entire employee lifecycle, address complex employee relations, and act as the designated in-country human resources advisor for the Czech Republic.

The role suits an experienced practitioner with a strong grasp of regional labor laws and remote collaboration tools. Responsibilities involve guiding clients through onboarding, offboarding, performance management, compliance governance, contract reviews, and digital transformation initiatives such as AI and automation adoption.

Compensation for this role includes an annual gross fixed pay range of 658,400 CZK to 823,000 CZK alongside variable compensation. Full-time regular staff are eligible for an annual bonus tied to individual and company performance. Benefits encompass flexible time off, paid parental leave, medical, dental, and vision insurance, spending accounts, and a sabbatical after five years.

Responsibilities

Manage onboarding, lifecycle events, and terminations as the primary contact for employees in the Czech Republic
Handle sensitive employee relations cases, participate in meetings, and prepare compliant legal documentation
Collaborate with payroll vendors, benefits brokers, and legal advisors
Advise clients on compliance, workforce planning, and benefits queries
Review employment contracts and support risk mitigation based on EMEA labor regulations
Assist clients through Performance Improvement Plans and coordinate salary adjustments
Act as the single point of contact for employee mobility and immigration needs
Lead compliance governance projects and drive process automation and AI adoption

Requirements

Minimum of three years of human resources experience
Demonstrated expertise in regional labor regulations
Background handling complex employee relations
Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
Familiarity with HRIS, Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, Tableau, Slack, and Zoom

Qualifications

Proficiency in the German language
Familiarity with the Employer of Record industry
Experience managing the employee lifecycle in Germany or Austria
