Bosch is hiring for the position of Senior Engineer/Assistant Manager (Front Line Manager). This role requires working on-site and involves executing production processes according to established control plans and process flows. The professional selected will manage daily and monthly production schedules, uphold 5S standards of cleanliness and orderliness, and ensure compliance with IPN standards within the coil area. Ideal candidates will focus on defect prevention, minimizing rework and rejection rates, and driving efficiency and utilization improvements. Additional duties include leading setup changeovers, implementing Kaizen improvements, rotating across all three shifts as a Front Line Manager, and adhering strictly to health, safety, and environment regulations. The position also entails training technicians in line with structured skill matrices and training plans.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily and monthly production plans
- Carry out production processes according to the process flow and control plan
- Adhere to check sheets, line startup instructions, and autonomous checks
- Maintain orderliness, cleanliness, and IPN standards in the coil area
- Ensure zero defects in product quality
- Train technicians according to the skill matrix improvement and training plan
- Drive reductions in rework and rejection
- Perform setup changeovers
- Enhance equipment utilization and operational efficiency
- Execute Kaizen improvements
- Follow all Health, Safety, and Environment guidelines and rules
- Rotate as a Front Line Manager across all three shifts
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience
- Working knowledge of control systems and camera systems
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing systems
- Understanding of control documents including PFMEA, process flow, and control plan
- Familiarity with line documents such as work instructions, autonomous check sheets, first part inspection sheets, and 3S check sheets
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical or Production Engineering
