Job Description

This position suits a developer who can work independently on backend features while collaborating closely with a distributed, fullstack team comprising product managers, designers, and frontend engineers. Team members are expected to incorporate artificial intelligence into their daily workflows as a productivity tool. You will also participate in on-call rotations to help troubleshoot production and security operations. Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend features for vulnerability management workflows using Ruby on Rails
Improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of security data ingestion and reporting systems
Collaborate with frontend engineers and contribute across the technology stack when necessary
Write code that adheres to internal styling, maintainability, and high-scale web standards
Perform code reviews following established team guidelines
Identify and resolve technical debt to enhance team efficiency
Participate in on-call rotations for troubleshooting engineering and security operations

Requirements

Experience building and maintaining backend applications with Ruby on Rails
Background in delivering and maintaining software systems within an engineering team
Experience utilizing relational databases such as PostgreSQL
Ability to investigate technical issues and work toward practical resolutions
Communication and collaboration skills suited for a distributed team

Qualifications

Frontend development experience including JavaScript or Vue.js
Familiarity with Elasticsearch or graph databases
