Ebury is seeking a Junior Treasury Operations Analyst (Bank Recon) to join its Treasury Operations Team. Founded in 2009, Ebury is a fintech company that provides global growth solutions for businesses, including financing, hedging, and business accounts on a unified platform. Operating with a team of over 2,000 employees across nearly 70 cities, the company focuses on building infrastructure for borderless commerce.
In this hybrid role, reporting directly to the Treasury Operations Reconciliation Manager at the Malaga office, the analyst will work four days in the office and one day working from home per week. The position centers on financial reconciliations and daily operations across the treasury department. Candidates should possess strong drive, effective research skills, and an aptitude for working under strict deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Support the financial reconciliation function for more than 800 accounts spanning over 100 currencies
- Execute daily trade reconciliations across multiple foreign exchange transaction types and counterparties in compliance with EMIR regulations
- Reconcile group bank accounts covering client collections, LP settlements, payout accounts, corporate treasury, trade finance, SPV accounts, and cover accounts
- Monitor trade populations and settlements daily while managing discrepancies between internal systems and external balances
- Detect, analyze, correct, and escalate discrepancies between internal and external cash flows
- Perform internal control checks to ensure complete system information
- Produce ad-hoc, weekly, and monthly treasury position reports
- Maintain document and process controls to facilitate audit procedures
- Provide intra-department reporting and support for external audits
Requirements
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- High level of English proficiency
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and adapt to changing requirements in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive work ethic with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and effective independent research and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills for building cross-functional relationships
