Ebury is seeking a Key Account Director Funds DACH for its Ebury Institutional division. This hybrid position requires working four days in the office, located in Luxembourg or Dusseldorf. Ebury is a financial technology company founded in 2009 that provides business accounts, hedging, and financing solutions on an integrated platform to help organizations manage global cash flow and scale internationally. In this role, the selected professional will oversee and grow the institutional client portfolio within the DACH region. Responsibilities involve driving brand growth through direct sales, event attendance, and networking within the private market sector. The candidate will build strategic partnerships with fund administrators, corporate service providers, and fund formation lawyers. This opportunity suits an experienced sales professional with expertise in institutional foreign exchange markets and cross-border financial services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new institutional clients and expand existing accounts
- Build and maintain relationships with institutional clients and the broader fund ecosystem including fund administrators and law firms
- Identify and prospect institutional clients requiring cross-border payments, foreign exchange, and hedging solutions
- Network and present comprehensive solutions covering international payment needs and forex strategies
- Monitor industry updates, regulatory changes, and competitor actions affecting institutional FX markets
- Coordinate with internal FX dealing and operations teams to guarantee seamless service delivery
- Utilize Ebury's global network to service clients internationally
Requirements
- Demonstrated sales management experience in foreign exchange or cross-border financial services targeting institutional clients in the DACH region
- Proven background in establishing and maintaining relationships with institutional clients
- Familiarity with institutional FX markets, risk management techniques, and trading strategies
- Residency in Luxembourg
- Fluency in German and business-level English proficiency
