Job Description

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate new sales agreements, renewals, and amendments with company partners
• Participate in partner negotiation meetings
• Provide commercial guidance to internal business units and address inquiries regarding contract terms and conditions, data protection, and intellectual property
• Perform contract risk assessments, manage escalations, and develop playbook positions to guarantee compliance with legal and business policies
• Build, update, and localize contract templates by suggesting alternative clauses and backup fallback positions
• Collaborate across business areas to maintain and improve the partner playbook and special-payments guidance
• Identify and mitigate potential legal risks to prevent disputes

Requirements

• Hold a Law Degree obtained in any European country
• Bring six or more years of professional experience gained in a law firm or in an in-house legal department within a multinational company
• Demonstrate experience in contract review, negotiation, and commercial agreement advisory across multiple jurisdictions
• Show proficiency in using AI tools like Gemini and NotebookLM for initial reviews and playbook updates
• Communicate fluently in English and speak native German
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and explain complex concepts clearly

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, French, or Romanian
