Its goal for legal is to demonstrate what a legal department looks like when it is designed for an AI-native company.
The Legal Operations Lead will own the infrastructure that lets the Legal team expand alongside the business. The territory includes contract administration, relationships with outside law firms and their billing terms, and the broader legal technology estate. The lead will work with a dedicated automation engineering group and carries both strategic and hands-on operational responsibilities.
Duties include shaping how the Legal function is organized, deciding which tasks stay with the team and where automation should take over, and running platforms such as Ironclad for contract lifecycle management, matter tracking and electronic invoicing. The lead manages outside counsel and legal vendors, following budgets and performance, and works with automation teams to bring ElevenAgents and similar tools into day-to-day legal work.
The lead also builds measurement frameworks and dashboards showing team priorities, workload and results, and works alongside the finance, IT, FDE and business units so legal work keeps up with the way the company operates.
The ideal candidate has seven or more years in legal operations, some of it leading the function, and a solid command of legal tech spanning CLM platforms, e-billing and matter management. Experience supporting teams across several countries and using metrics to tell a persuasive story that changes decisions are essential. The person should enjoy taking processes apart and rebuilding them, manage competing deadlines calmly, and have earlier worked for a fast-scaling tech or machine-learning business.

Responsibilities
- Help design and refine the Legal function's operating model
- Identify work the team should keep and areas where automation should expand
- Run the legal technology stack, including Ironclad, matter management and e-billing
- Oversee outside counsel and legal vendors, including budgets and performance
- Work with automation teams to bring Eleven Agents and related tools into legal workflows
- Define metrics and dashboards covering team priorities, workload and performance
- Keep legal workflows in step by working with the Finance, IT, FDE and business groups
Requirements
- Seven-plus years of legal ops work, including some leadership of the function
- Solid command of legal tech spanning CLM platforms, e-billing and matter management
- Experience supporting teams across several countries
- Strong analytical skills and a habit of using metrics to drive decisions
- Excellent organization and the ability to juggle competing deadlines
- Earlier employment at a fast-scaling tech or machine-learning firm
- Able to work alone effectively in a remote, trust-based team
