Job Description
ElevenLabs focuses on voice and audio AI, with flagship products ElevenAgents, ElevenCreative and the ElevenAPI. Since debuting its first voice model in early 2023 it now reaches millions of individuals and thousands of organizations. Now it wants a Sales Development Lead to take the US SDR function further as hiring and customer segments expand.
The lead inherits an existing group of SDRs, brings new hires up to speed and steers an energetic outbound operation. Responsibilities include planning creative prospecting programs and working with AEs and sales leadership to hit ambitious targets. The company is especially interested in people who can apply AI and automation to rethink what an SDR does day to day.
The role covers managing SDRs through planned expansion, testing new go-to-market approaches across segments and countries, and building a culture of inquisitiveness, responsibility and steady improvement. The lead will use data and tools to refine strategy, create repeatable routines for prospecting, qualification and handoff to AEs, and design onboarding, enablement and coaching programs that stand up over time.
The company is looking for a player-coach who enjoys developing talent and draws energy from a team winning. Candidates should bring four-plus years in selling or business development, with one to two of them spent leading people. A record of closing deals, recent outbound outreach aimed at technical and enterprise buyers, strong AI fluency and experience leading SDR or BDR groups that perform strongly at quickly scaling technology firms are also expected, along with skill in sales measurement and CRM reporting.
Helpful additions include time at early-stage or Series A through C companies, familiarity with voice technology, AI, developer tooling or creative software, and experience with teams spread across locations. The job is set up remote-first, so it can be done from any US location, provided the person works Eastern, Central, Mountain or Pacific hours. Candidates in San Francisco are preferred.
