The manager leads the month-end close, general ledger integrity, balance sheet reconciliations and accounts payable. The role supports financial statement, foreign statutory and tax audits, develops the accounting team, and works to shorten the close through automation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
- Oversee general ledger integrity and accounts payable operations
- Support financial statement audits, foreign statutory audits and tax compliance
- Manage and develop members of the accounting team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field
- 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or management role
- Hands-on experience managing accounts payable operations
- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and the month-end close
