This full-time, on-site finance post in Bengaluru acts as a business finance partner for the customer experience area at Swiggy. The manager is based at the Bengaluru base, connects business stakeholders with technology and analytics teams, and shares ownership of business targets with them.
Central work is planning and analysis: building models for cost reduction and profitability, examining margins, supporting performance reviews, and keeping long-range plans and forecasts on track. The role also oversees the quarterly and yearly operating plan, budgets, management information and financial reporting, puts controls and processes in place, and hunts for savings by removing waste. Hosting finance review sessions and automating reports are included.
The manager writes procedures and policies with close attention to controllership and compliance, and must win over colleagues across functions. The post suits a strategic, analytical self-starter with four to seven years of experience after qualifying, excellent communication, and familiarity with business intelligence software.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a bridge between customer experience stakeholders and technology and analytics groups
- Share responsibility for business targets and solve financial problems that affect customer experience
- Build financial models for cost control and profit improvement
- Lead quarterly and yearly operating plans, budgets and forecasts
- Produce management information, financial reports and ad hoc analyses, and automate reporting
- Design processes, controls and policies with an eye on compliance
- Host finance reviews and drive cost-saving projects
Requirements
- 4 to 7 years of experience after qualifying
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence teams across functions
- Independent operator who can own deliverables with little direction
- Clear verbal and written communication
Qualifications
- Master's degree in business finance or strategy, or a CA qualification
- Knowledge of SQL
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools
