Job Description

Collibra has an opening for a Manager, Professional Services on its Public Sector team. The job leads federal customer work by designing architectures for agency missions and delivering Collibra products under the public sector delivery model and its methods. The position is on-site, with Washington, D.C. area candidates preferred and up to 50 percent on-site presence for in-person federal work.

Most engagements involve U.S. federal agencies. The manager creates data governance strategies that agencies can adopt, transfers knowledge to their staff, and confirms that projects comply with rules and standards such as FedRAMP, FISMA and GovCloud. The role works alongside Customer Engineering, Sales, Product, Support and senior leadership to line up with federal buying calendars and what stakeholders need.

The manager also looks for ways to expand Collibra's presence inside agencies by tying product features to new mandates, modernization programs and compliance needs. Performance is judged partly on meeting utilization targets and on growing services and licensing revenue through account planning.

Five to ten years of consulting for U.S. federal agencies, focused on governance, management or quality of data, is needed. Practical familiarity with cloud platforms, REST/JSON integrations and deployment automation is also expected. Because the work supports U.S. government contracts, the candidate must be a U.S. citizen living in the country with an active Secret, TS or TS-SCI clearance.

The standard base salary is 128,000 to 160,000 USD per year, and the role is eligible for commission-based pay. Pay depends on experience, skills and location. Listed perks include bonus eligibility, equity where the role qualifies, a monthly Flex Fund stipend and pension or 401(k) plans.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver architecture for federal projects built on Collibra products
  • Apply FedRAMP, FISMA and GovCloud requirements throughout delivery
  • Develop governance strategies for agencies and pass expertise to their teams
  • Find new ways to apply Collibra across agency mandates and modernization work
  • Hit utilization targets and sustain long-running client programs

Requirements

  • Skill at diagnosing client connectivity and software issues and steering them to resolution
  • U.S. citizen living in the U.S. with an active Secret, TS or TS-SCI clearance
  • Clear communication with both business and technical audiences

Qualifications

  • Experience with Spark, Hadoop, data warehousing, ETL and data integration
  • Familiarity with LDAP or Kerberos enterprise security
  • Experience with data quality tools, pipelines, orchestration or job control
