Job Description
Collibra is hiring a Senior Account Executive II to grow its business in the Mid-West territory. Collibra sells data governance and data intelligence solutions, and this enterprise sales role handles some of the company's largest customers and prospects. The job covers prospecting for net-new accounts, building greenfield business, maintaining relationships with existing customers and creating demand for expansion within those accounts. The listing is full-time, and sponsorship is unavailable for this position.
The account executive runs long, layered deal processes from a first lead through stakeholder mapping, negotiation and close, then drives expansion. In a consultative process, the person acts as a data intelligence advisor who identifies customer value and return on investment, works with customers, partners and peers, and keeps Salesforce forecasts current. Selling to C-level buyers at large enterprises is part of the role, and travel is required as needed. The posting sets timelines: complete onboarding and meet team members in the first month, have a pipeline building in the territory by month three, and have a solid set of prospects close to signing by month six.
Candidates should have at least four years of enterprise sales experience and a consistent record of meeting or exceeding SaaS quotas. Experience in data management, data governance or AI is required, along with sales cycles involving multiple technical and business stakeholders. The posting also asks for familiarity with enterprise sales methodologies, skill using AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT or Copilot, and a bachelor's degree or comparable experience. The standard base salary range is $140,000 to $175,000 per year, with commission-based pay on top. Benefits include bonus opportunities, equity where eligible, a monthly Flex Fund stipend, and pension or 401(k) plans.
