Job Description

Experian India seeks a Marketing Director to join its Mumbai office on-site. In this full-time leadership position, the successful candidate will manage the complete marketing agenda, spanning brand development, product launches, pipeline generation, and consumer growth. The employer helps fintechs, enterprises, and lenders make informed decisions through analytics, data, decisioning, and fraud solutions, while assisting millions of individuals with their credit health.

This commercially accountable role combines business strategy with hands-on execution. The role suits an experienced marketing leader capable of simplifying complex data, credit, and analytics topics for businesses, regulators, and consumers. The person chosen will hire, coach, and guide an internal marketing team while managing external agency relationships and financial budgets.

  • Establish the brand as a market sector leader across B2B, consumer, and corporate audiences
  • Formulate messaging and product positioning for fraud, identity, credit, analytics, and decisioning product lines
  • Partner with Sales to build scalable end-to-end lead generation, account-based campaigns, and nurture programs
  • Direct digital-first marketing efforts across websites, social media, online campaigns, newsletters, and blogs
  • Manage media relations, PR strategy, executive visibility, and crisis communications
  • Create data-led thought leadership materials such as whitepapers, reports, and market insights
  • Oversee the marketing budget, financial performance, and external PR, creative, digital, and media agencies

Requirements

  • Possess 14 to 16 years of marketing background, featuring senior leadership experience managing marketing teams
  • Demonstrate a blend of business-to-business and business-to-consumer or D2C marketing expertise
  • Show a proven history in B2B product marketing, go-to-market strategies, and lead generation within data, technology, or financial products
  • Bring expertise in building brand presence through ecosystem collaborations, events, and partnerships
  • Exhibit strong foundational knowledge in digital marketing, including marketing-automation platforms, CRM tools, and social media
  • Demonstrate experience supervising marketing budgets, suppliers, and PR agencies

Qualifications

  • Background in BFSI, lending, or credit information, including responsible consumer messaging
  • Existing connections with agencies, media, and industry bodies within India
  • Previous practice handling issues and crisis communications inside a regulated sector
  • Hold an MBA or a professional marketing qualification
