Job Description
Toptal operates a worldwide network of talent, and it calls itself the biggest fully remote workforce anywhere. This full-time, remote Matching Operations Coordinator serves as the main bridge between talent working on client engagements and Toptal's internal teams. The job is mostly about keeping talent communication channels open and handling the administrative work that keeps engagements and performance on track.
Written communication matters a great deal in this role. The coordinator follows up with talent on assigned accounts about project status, looks for up-sell and cross-sell options, works to prevent disputes, and passes relevant news to stakeholders. Other duties include handling account-level tasks, keeping process guides easy to find, helping onboard new colleagues, and supporting ad-hoc strategic work. Contact with the team happens over Slack and Zoom during set working hours.
Candidates should have roughly two to three years or more of background in coordinating work, running operations, or supporting customers. Clear organization, strong attention to detail and a habit of following processes are essential, along with sound judgment when information is thin. Working fluency with Google Sheets and Google Docs is needed, and analyzing operational data is a plus. A project-management or technical background is welcome.
A bachelor's degree is required. Applications and correspondence must be in English.
