The Commercial Strategy team sits within the Business Development and Commercial Programs organization, managing strategic initiatives, experiments, and partnerships. Within this division, the Partner Operations sub-team builds scalable systems, runs pilots, and supports partnership growth.
As a Partner Operations Analyst at Thumbtack, the individual will oversee the partner onboarding pipeline and provide operational support to high-value software and marketing partners. This role involves a combination of hands-on execution, cross-functional project management, and process optimization. The analyst will independently lead projects, utilize automation and artificial intelligence tools to minimize manual tasks, and coordinate with internal groups like Engineering and Partnerships alongside external developers to resolve issues and test new tools.

Responsibilities
- Manage the onboarding pipeline from the Partner Application Portal to the Pro Marketplace to ensure partners are activated
- Deliver ongoing account management and serve as the primary operational contact for key software and marketing partners
- Lead independent projects by handling scoping, planning, delivery, and timeline coordination across teams
- Design and maintain automation systems, including artificial intelligence tools, for data gathering, tracking, and reporting
- Support new partnership launches and early-stage pilots by managing fulfillment, refunds, pro surveys, and feedback collection
- Collaborate with Engineering, external developers, Partnerships, and Support teams to troubleshoot issues and test tools
- Maintain up-to-date workflows, documentation, and Jira dashboards to provide leadership visibility into volume and bottlenecks
Requirements
- Accumulate at least three years of experience in operations, partner management, account management, customer success, or support operations
- Demonstrate a background working at a technology company or marketplace
- Possess experience taking a process from end to end by mapping, documenting, and improving it
- Show a history of delivering cross-functional projects by establishing plans and managing dependencies
- Maintain familiarity with Salesforce, Jira, and spreadsheets, including building dashboards or reports
- Have exposure to product integrations and application programming interfaces
- Bring experience using artificial intelligence or automation tools to reduce manual tasks
- Communicate clearly in written and verbal English while interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Be able to work United States hours, which includes graveyard shifts and occasional schedule adjustments
