Job Description

Motive is hiring a full-time, on-site People Business Partner in Pakistan to tie HR planning to company objectives. The partner serves as an adviser to managers and staff on people matters such as employee relations, performance oversight, talent growth and organizational transformation. This person works with a Senior, Lead or manager-level HR Business Partner to understand what the business is trying to achieve and to design HR approaches that back those aims.

In practice, the role means applying those approaches consistently across the groups or departments assigned, and relaying company changes that could alter HR direction back to the wider team. The partner helps managers build capable teams in areas such as leadership effectiveness, new-hire integration, performance and engagement, and mentors them on developing people, inclusive leadership and resolving staff concerns. Other tasks include keeping HR policies and legal obligations in step, examining people metrics for patterns and risks, and supporting change projects so shifts happen smoothly and are explained clearly.

Applicants should hold a university degree in HR, business administration or a closely related subject, and bring at least five years of HR work with growing responsibility, including three years or more as an HRBP supporting executives, client groups or similar functions. Expertise in HR practice and employment law is necessary, along with a history of advising senior leaders on intricate organizational issues. Persuasive communication and interpersonal skills, plus an analytical, solutions-focused outlook, are expected. A master's degree or HR certification is a bonus, and experience with multinational teams is valued.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior HR leaders to grasp company targets and shape HR plans around them.
  • Carry out HR plans steadily across the client groups or functions assigned.
  • Pass company-level changes that could reshape HR priorities back to the wider HR team.
  • Advise managers on building capable teams: leadership skills, onboarding, performance and engagement.
  • Mentor managers on developing people, fostering inclusive leadership and handling staff concerns.
  • Make sure HR rules and legal duties are met in daily practice.
  • Contribute to HR programs that lift engagement and keep people longer.
  • Study people data to spot patterns, risks and areas to improve.
  • Assist change initiatives and explain transitions clearly.
  • Weave diversity, equity and inclusion into talent practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's-level education in HR, business administration or a related subject.
  • At least five years of HR work with growing responsibility, including three years or more as an HRBP.
  • Solid grasp of HR practice and the business functions it serves.
  • Proven results advising senior leaders on complicated organizational problems.
  • Working knowledge of employment legislation and regulations.
  • Strong verbal, written and influencing abilities.
  • Data-driven, solutions-oriented thinking.
  • Hands-on experience with change initiatives.
  • Capacity to juggle several priorities in a quick-moving setting.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or HR certification.
  • Experience supporting global teams.
