Job Description

GitLab is seeking a Pipeline Programs Manager to join its Pipeline Excellence team on a full-time, remote basis. GitLab operates as an intelligent orchestration platform for DevSecOps, assisting organizations with developer productivity, operational efficiency, risk reduction, and digital transformation. In this position, the professional will translate pipeline targets into structured programs that the field can operate, managing initiatives such as sales plays and PipeGen days while supervising data hygiene checkpoints. The role involves working closely with Sales, Marketing, Field Enablement, Sales Strategy, and RevOps to identify risks and upside potential within the pipeline plan.

This role suits individuals with a strong background in sales operations, revenue operations, or sales programs who possess rigorous cross-functional execution skills. Team members at GitLab are expected to incorporate AI as a core productivity multiplier into their daily workflows. The Pipeline Excellence team emphasizes speed with quality, an ownership mindset, and a focus on customer outcomes to drive predictable, repeatable revenue generation. Candidates based in the United States and Canada are welcome to apply, and US base salaries range from $115,200 to $129,600 USD alongside eligible incentive pay targeted at up to 100% of the offered base salary, plus equity and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Manage global and regional pipeline generation programs such as sales plays and PipeGen days following a structured calendar.
  • Synchronize in-quarter program execution across diverse regions and segments by coordinating timelines, owners, messaging, and action items.
  • Supervise routine pipeline hygiene checkpoints while reporting adherence rates and emerging trends to RevOps and Sales Strategy leadership.
  • Collaborate alongside Marketing and Enablement divisions to supply the field with appropriate training, content, and messaging.
  • Evaluate go-to-market plan drivers, risks, and upside potentials to make them visible to decision-makers.
  • Provide design feedback regarding sales plays, hygiene rules, and associated incentives derived from execution observations.
  • Measure program performance against established success metrics to summarize effective strategies and future adjustments.
  • Synchronize outbound program execution with sales leaders and Sales Development teams for regional and team-wide scale.
  • Partner with RevOps and Systems teams to propose and implement reporting and Salesforce enhancements that boost metric visibility and limit manual tasks.

Requirements

  • At least five years of professional experience working in Sales, Sales Programs, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Field Enablement, Sales Enablement, or Marketing Operations with a track record of timely delivery.
  • Demonstrated capability in managing cross-functional programs requiring operational rigor among multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Familiarity working with pipeline data using Salesforce and business intelligence dashboards to isolate gaps and explain metrics.
  • Solid understanding of the B2B sales funnel encompassing pipeline creation, velocity, hygiene, and conversion.
  • Clear communication and presentation skills capable of explaining programs and risks to sales leadership and partners.
  • Demonstrated capability to influence without authority, build trust, and advance initiatives across unmanaged teams.
  • Strong judgment in a fast-paced setting with an ownership mindset that carries programs through to actual outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Basic SQL proficiency using platforms such as Snowflake.
  • Previous experience working in a quota-carrying or direct sales role.
