InMobi is seeking a Practice Counsel to join its team in Bengaluru on a full-time, on-site basis. InMobi is a global technology company focused on advertising and agentic commerce through data, machine learning, and generative AI, operating platforms such as InMobi Advertising and Glance.
In this role, the Practice Counsel will handle domestic and multinational mergers and acquisitions, significant acquisitions, and commercial contracting. The professional will structure transactions, draft and review legal documents, lead negotiations, and perform legal due diligence. Additional duties involve advising on foreign direct investment, overseas direct investment, share transfers with non-resident entities, and joint ventures with Indian and foreign collaborators.

Responsibilities
- Advise and assist on domestic and multinational mergers and acquisitions
- Provide counsel on substantial acquisitions
- Assist in transaction structuring, draft and vet legal documents, and lead negotiations
- Conduct legal due diligence on target and vendor companies
- Deliver opinions regarding foreign direct investment, overseas direct investment, and share transfers involving non-resident entities
- Advise Indian and foreign collaborators on joint venture transactions, including setting up joint venture companies, filing regulatory applications, and drafting agreements
- Provide general corporate advisory services and handle commercial contracting
Requirements
- Have 8 to 10 years of relevant experience
- Possess relevant prior experience in the mergers and acquisitions practice area with large corporations
- Stay current with industry merger and acquisition trends and best practices
- Maintain knowledge of current and developing legislation governing mergers and acquisitions within the applicable jurisdiction
Qualifications
- Product company experience is preferred
