In this position, the professional acts as a bridge between unit forecasts and revenue targets by managing pricing analytics, tracking revenue pacing, and evaluating discounting assumptions. The role collaborates extensively with Sales, Finance, Product, R&D, and Sales Operations to deliver market insights, financial cost reporting, and executive-level metrics. Ideal candidates bring strong analytical capabilities, curiosity, and experience in SaaS pricing analytics or benchmarking.
This is a remote opportunity available to individuals residing in Canada, Mexico, and the United States, excluding the San Francisco Bay, New York City, and Washington D.C. metropolitan areas. Responsibilities
- Manage pricing analytics by forecasting average sales prices and discounting levels categorized by product group, geography, and sales segment
- Generate and oversee financial cost reporting metrics such as hardware cash flow, projected spend, warranty expense, and obsolescence risk
- Synthesize complex data into actionable narratives and present findings to leadership across Operations, Finance, Sales, and Product
- Analyze customer and sales trends inside product families to pinpoint opportunities for revenue and margin growth
- Automate data processing, gather new data sources, and implement tools and best practices for data management
- Provide KPIs and data access to the planning team through business intelligence visualization tools like Tableau or Looker
- Collaborate with Demand Planners to share insights regarding new programs, sales pacing, and conversion rates
- Improve the forecasting process by building rigorous analytical models using historical business data
Requirements
- Degree in a relevant analytical discipline such as finance, economics, mathematics, computer science, or data science
- At least eight years of combined experience, or six years with a Master's degree, in finance, consulting, supply chain planning, demand planning, business planning, or data analytics
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify variances in top-line figures and costs while outlining assumptions and risks
- Effective communication skills capable of summarizing detailed information for diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated capability to structure complex problems with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with financial planning and analysis, supply chain finance, or financial reporting
- Industry background within a SaaS-based technology company
- Familiarity with enterprise software tools including NetSuite, Salesforce, and e2open
- Proficiency in querying languages like SQL, visualization tools like Looker or Tableau, spreadsheet applications, or programming languages such as R and Python
