Job Description
This full-time Principal Solutions Architect position is a security specialist role in the United States, marked as on-site. The architect brings depth in SIEM technology and security tooling, and applies consultative selling skills to help organisations protect their data and systems, handle incidents more effectively and build security architectures that can scale.
Key tasks are designing new security approaches that draw on Elastic's latest AI work, and helping customers meet their goals with the Elastic Security solution. The architect also leads proof-of-value engagements that show how Elastic detection, AI and incident response features can make analysts faster and more confident in their decisions. Thought leadership through presentations and written content is part of the role, as is building knowledge sharing across the Solutions Architecture group.
The job also requires keeping pace with SIEM, analytics and related technologies so the solutions stay current. Expect to travel for 30 to 50 percent of the time.
Candidates should bring more than fifteen years of enterprise SIEM architecture experience, an understanding of vendor ecosystems and SOC operations, and a record in forensic analysis and threat mitigation. Experience with behavioural analytics and machine learning, proven results in consultative selling and RFI or RFP responses, and clear communication with mixed audiences are needed. CISSP, CEH and GIAC count in your favour.
