SGS is hiring for a Quality Assurance role covering food standards including BRCGS, FSSC, IFS, and HACCP as a Technical Administrator and Technical Coordinator. The position reports to the Global Product Manager and centers on technical administration and coordination activities. Key duties involve managing portal data, overseeing compliance and key performance indicators, handling auditor approvals, monitoring affiliate performance, and uploading required certificates and reports within designated timelines. This position suits professionals with food industry experience and certification knowledge who can communicate effectively across all organizational levels while maintaining strict adherence to safety guidelines and professional conduct policies.
Responsibilities
- Manage BRCGS and FSSC directory and portal data
- Monitor compliance and key performance indicators
- Upload reports and certificates into relevant directories and portals
- Track monthly affiliate performance and provide feedback for improvement
- Handle auditor approvals through internal systems and portals
- Manage witness assessment activities for auditors
- Monitor completion of calibration training and harmonization exams
- Review and approve IFS proposal worksheets for affiliates
- Process client cancellations, suspensions, and withdrawals
- Maintain the IFS portal with current client details and audit data
Requirements
- Fluency in the English language
- Familiarity with certification processes
- Working knowledge of BRCGS, FSSC, and IFS standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Demonstrated time management skills
- High attention to detail
- Two or more years of full-time experience in the food industry or retail sector
Qualifications
- Recognized HACCP qualification lasting a minimum of two days including an examination
- First degree or tertiary equivalent in a food-related or bioscience discipline
- Detailed understanding of BRCGS, FSSC, and IFS standards
- Proficiency in additional languages
