Job Description

Monzo is recruiting a Regulatory Reporting Analyst for its regulatory reporting team in London. The group is accountable for understanding Monzo's prudential reporting obligations, delivering related projects and submissions, and working with colleagues across the business. The post is hybrid, with one to two days a week expected in the London office. Pay tops out at £55,000, based on experience, plus incentive awards tied to performance.

The analyst would produce Monzo's liquidity regulatory reporting, with controls strong enough to support compliance and internal governance. Other duties include documenting regulatory interpretations, helping to prepare capital and liquidity reporting and disclosures such as Pillar 3, and running and strengthening the controls that keep submissions on time, correct and complete. The work also covers building dashboards with visualisation tools to support sign-off and insight, and automating reporting where possible so the function can scale with the business.

Applicants should have produced LCR, NSFR, PRA110 and ALMM returns, and be meticulous about detail. SQL knowledge helps, and being willing to pick it up is enough. The role requires a proven record of meeting strict deadlines, and an interest in automating recurring processes while still getting the reports out on time.

The interview process has four steps: a 30-minute recruiter call, a half-hour first call with the hiring manager, a 45-minute technical session with the hiring manager plus a team member, and a 30-minute behavioural interview. The posting says the process usually takes three to four weeks. Benefits include a yearly learning allowance of £1,000 and a £200 allowance for a home-working setup after the first full month.
