Robinhood operates a financial platform aiming to democratize finance for all users. The organization is currently seeking a Retirement Services Specialist to join the Retirement Operations team with a specific focus on Trump Accounts.
In this position, the professional will operate within a cross-functional clearing operations group, collaborating closely with various internal brokerage divisions. Responsibilities include managing routine operations such as complex transaction processing, maintaining adherence to regulatory standards and industry practices, and handling escalated inquiries from customer-facing teams. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in retail brokerage account administration, sharp problem-solving capabilities, and a readiness to operate in a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chicago, Illinois. Personnel are expected to work from the office at least three days per week. Compensation includes a base salary range of $64,000 to $75,000 for this location, along with potential bonus opportunities, equity grants, and standard benefit packages.
Responsibilities
- Manage critical daily operational processes for Retirement and Trump Accounts, including complex transaction execution
- Partner with customer-facing personnel to handle exception processing and escalated inquiries
- Identify, investigate, and escalate abnormal user behaviors with an emphasis on trend analysis and quick resolution
- Contribute to operational improvements and customer experience enhancements regarding retirement offerings
- Utilize data-driven methodologies to collaborate on updates to departmental policies and procedures
- Apply operational knowledge of retirement accounts alongside fluency in artificial intelligence tools
Requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge of retail brokerage account operations and IRA transaction processing
- Familiarity with collaborating alongside customer-facing business units
- Exceptional attention to detail paired with accountability for results
- Ability to combine speed and critical thinking to resolve complex operational issues
- Self-motivated work ethic with a bias for action in an entrepreneurial setting
- In-person office attendance at least three days per week in Chicago
