Bosch is currently seeking an S/4 HANA ABAP -MDT Technical professional to join its team in Bengaluru for a full-time, on-site position. This role is suited for an experienced specialist with a background in SAP development and modernization technologies.
The person in this position will handle technical design, code optimization, debugging, and ticket management. Responsibilities include implementing modern architectural components, managing workflow configurations, and supporting system modernization initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage ticket handling, change coordination, and debugging tasks
- Design and develop technical solutions involving S/4HANA, data dictionaries, object-oriented concepts, IDOCs, workflows, and archiving
- Implement modern technologies including the RESTful ABAP Programming Model, Core Data Services, AMDP, and OData services
- Conduct code reviews and enforce standards to optimize performance, scalability, and security
- Configure SAP Master Data Governance processes and manage change requests and workflows
Requirements
- Total of 8 to 10 years of professional industry experience in SAP
- At least 2 years of experience working with SAP S/4HANA ABAP and the RESTful ABAP Programming Model
- Extensive background in OData services, CDS, modelling, scripting, and AMDP
- Strong proficiency in ABAP programming and object-oriented concepts
- In-depth knowledge of SAP Master Data Governance processes, configurations, and implementation methodologies
- Familiarity with MDG workflow configurations and change request management
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology degree
- Expert-level understanding of ABAP objects, performance tuning, and debugging
- Practical experience using SAP GUI, SAP Fiori, and Eclipse-based IDE ADT
- Familiarity with Logistics, Finance, Joule for developers, and ABAP AI capabilities
