Bosch seeks a Technical Development Manager SAP (BBM) to work on-site in Bengaluru for a full-time position. In this role, the professional will shape the digital transformation of the SAP system landscape, focusing on stability, efficiency, and integrity within the Center of Excellence.
The position involves designing architectures across S/4HANA On-Premise and RISE, R/3, and BTP. Responsibilities include coordinating with development teams, project managers, and operations experts while advising stakeholders on deployment guidelines, interface management, and upgrade strategies.
This role suits professionals with extensive technical expertise in SAP ERP systems, deployment management, and corporate ERP architectures who aim to influence enterprise technology foundations.
Responsibilities
- Design the SAP system landscape encompassing S/4HANA On-Premise and RISE, R/3, and BTP to maintain stability, efficiency, and integrity
- Collaborate closely with development teams, project management, and basis and data center operations experts
- Advise customers and development teams regarding technical development management, system landscape design, interface management, and SAP upgrade strategies
- Define deployment guidelines and strategies while optimizing system connections
- Continuously optimize and streamline deployment processes
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Possess broad technical experience with both S/4HANA and R/3 SAP ERP systems
- Demonstrate expert knowledge in SAP deployment strategies including release management and exceptional transport procedures via SAP Solution Managers Change & Release Management
- Bring experience managing large-scale system upgrades and deployment projects
- Understand corporate ERP architectures involving distributed systems and applications
- Show familiarity with interface management and technical SAP system connection aspects
- Maintain working practice with Atlassian Confluence and JIRA
- Possess technical SAP ABAP knowledge, Change & Release Management familiarity, upgrade experience, and strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Qualifications
- Experience with the Cloud ABAP Environment running in SAP BTP
