Bosch is hiring an on-site S/4 HANA ABAP -MDG Technical professional in Bengaluru. This full-time position requires an experienced specialist to handle technical design, development, and support tasks within SAP environments. The role involves working extensively with modern SAP tools and methodologies to build, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise systems.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in SAP development, specifically focusing on SAP S/4HANA ABAP and Master Data Governance. Responsibilities include managing change requests, fixing technical issues, conducting code reviews, and configuring workflows. Candidates should also be capable of guiding team members and communicating effectively across projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage ticket handling, change coordination, and ABAP debugging to resolve system issues
- Design and develop solutions using S/4HANA, DDIC, IDOC, data archiving, and workflows
- Implement modern technologies including CDS views, AMDP, OData services, and the RESTful ABAP Programming Model
- Configure SAP MDG processes and manage change request workflows
- Execute code reviews, enforce internal coding standards, and improve performance, scalability, and security
Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of total industry experience working with SAP
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA ABAP and RAP
- In-depth knowledge of OData services, CDS views, modeling, scripting, and AMDP
- Advanced proficiency in ABAP programming and object-oriented concepts
- Demonstrated practical experience with SAP MDG technical implementation and configuration
- Solid familiarity with MDG workflow configuration and change request management
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology degree
- Expert-level capability in ABAP debugging, performance tuning, and object handling
- Practical background using SAP Fiori, SAP GUI, and Eclipse-based ADT environments
- Familiarity with Logistics and Finance domains
- Exposure to Joule for developers and ABAP AI capabilities
