Job Description
Bosch is seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager for an on-site engagement based at the customer location in BKC, Mumbai, India. This role focuses on leading end-to-end service delivery and project governance for a large SAP Application Management Services (AMS) program. The successful candidate will manage project execution, client relationships, financials, resource planning, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives across SAP AMS services.
The position suits an established IT professional with an extensive background in overseeing complex SAP support environments and coordinating distributed onsite and offshore delivery teams. The role requires direct interaction with business leadership and IT stakeholders, enforcing compliance with ITIL and ITSM processes, and driving service quality.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and governance for SAP AMS projects and enhancements
- Serve as the primary liaison between customer leadership and SAP delivery teams
- Monitor SLA and KPI compliance while managing incident, problem, change, and release processes
- Coordinate cross-functional SAP teams and third parties for smooth transitions and cutovers
- Maintain structured RAID, action, decision, and RACI governance to drive risk mitigation
- Handle project financials including revenue, cost, utilization, forecasting, and profitability
- Manage capacity planning, resource onboarding, transitions, and productivity
- Initiate continuous improvement through automation, standardization, and ticket reduction
- Ensure compliance with ITIL, ITSM, security, audit, and customer requirements
- Mentor project management personnel to strengthen delivery practices
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of total IT experience
- At least 5 years of experience in SAP AMS project or program management
- Demonstrated accountability for end-to-end delivery of large SAP AMS and application support engagements
- Experience managing complex SAP AMS environments with multiple technical workstreams
- Background in managing concurrent projects, transitions, releases, and improvements
- Senior stakeholder management and customer-facing leadership experience
- Understanding of ITIL, ITSM, and SLA management
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering, B.Tech, or M.B.A. degree
- Experience with ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM tools
- PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL certification
- SAP certification
