Job Description
Kuda wants a Scrum Master to lift delivery pace, operational discipline and agile maturity across its engineering group. The post sits inside a scale-up and is embedded with large cross-disciplinary teams of 15 to 20 people, including engineers, product managers and designers. The aim is to ease delivery drag and nurture a high-trust setting where squads keep producing quality financial software.
The Scrum Master links high-level delivery milestones with day-to-day execution. Work includes leading the main Scrum ceremonies for big teams, guiding squad members and product owners through backlog priorities, story slicing and capacity planning, and encouraging ownership and continual improvement. The person spots blockers and cross-team dependencies, helps engineering leads streamline squad workflows, and relies on delivery measures like velocity, burn-down trends and DORA indicators to guide change.
The role keeps sprint objectives tied to product roadmaps, keeps stakeholders updated on progress and risks, and ensures agile routines account for the compliance and quality controls expected of high-volume financial systems. The posting asks for five or more years in a Scrum Master or agile coaching post, a background in scale-ups (FinTech preferred), and experience leading mixed squads. The role is full-time and on-site with a hybrid office pattern. No salary is stated.
