Bosch is currently hiring a Security Test Engineer to join the team in Bengaluru for a full-time, on-site position. This role centres on validating and testing the security mechanisms of automotive Gateway products to safeguard them against potential cyber threats and unauthorized intrusion.
The chosen candidate will concentrate on verifying secure communication protocols, secure diagnostics, and secure flashing processes. Key functional areas include Flash Data Security, secure boot validation, hardware security modules, virtual key management systems, and foundational cryptographic key management and encryption. The position is well-suited for engineering professionals who possess extensive experience in automotive cybersecurity standards and testing environments.
Responsibilities
- Validate and ensure the robustness of security mechanisms in automotive Gateway products
- Protect products against unauthorized access and cyber threats
- Verify secure communication protocols
- Work with secure diagnostics and secure flashing
- Handle Flash Data Security, Secure Boot validation, Hardware Security Module, and Virtual Key Management System functionality
- Manage cryptographic key management and encryption basics
- Perform debugging and log analysis
Requirements
- Knowledge of ISO 21434 automotive cybersecurity
- Knowledge of Autosar Security Concept
- Hands-on expertise in Vector CANoe, VTstudio, and Vector HIL
- CAPL programming knowledge
- Familiarity with debugging and log analysis tools
- 6 to 8 years of professional experience
