Job Description
Vercel is seeking a Senior Accountant to support its accounting operations as the company grows and matures toward public company standards. The role reports to the Senior Accounting Manager and owns assigned operational accounting areas, such as accruals, leases, capitalized commissions and payroll.
The Senior Accountant helps run each month's and each quarter's close and helps produce accurate, timely financial information for FP&A and business decisions. Other work includes building reporting packages and leadership decks with fluctuation and trend analysis, reconciling accounts, supporting M&A activity such as onboarding new entities, and helping with audits. The role suits an accountant with at least three years of progressive experience from firms such as Big 4 practices, fast-growing private companies, or both. Strong US GAAP knowledge and an ownership-minded, detail-oriented approach are important. The San Francisco base pay range is $120,000 to $140,000, and actual pay depends on skills, experience and location.
