Job Description
SEEK is recruiting a Senior Accountant for its Record to Report (R2R) function in APAC. The post runs for twelve months on a fixed-term basis and is full-time and on-site. The job centres on monthly management reporting. The accountant works alongside the Finance Business Partner to explain actual results, the drivers behind them and their effect on future performance. Work also includes examining financial data for variances, spotting trends and finding room for improvement, and making sure costs are reported and accounted for correctly with stakeholders.
Controls are a major part of the role. Results are booked under SEEK's group-wide accounting policies and IFRS, and the accountant makes sure rules and financial regulations are followed. The post also covers finding ways to streamline processes and speed up data capture, reconciliation and reporting through automation, working with colleagues across Finance.
The Senior Accountant coaches and develops junior colleagues, and contributes to the R2R team's direction. Applicants should have a CA, CPA or equivalent designation.
