Responsibilities
- Take ownership of major multiplier-type projects that improve codebase management and automation capabilities
- Collaborate with platform teams, product teams, engineers, leads, and product managers to ship tooling solutions
- Build quick prototypes initially and refine them into robust, scalable tools after identifying the optimal approach
- Partner with other engineering colleagues to maintain a collaborative team culture
- Share feedback regarding technical design choices and assist the team in making data-driven decisions
Requirements
- At least 6 years of proven professional experience building and maintaining tools for large codebases
- Strong technical emphasis on Java
- Demonstrated ability to manage and execute large-scale projects across multiple services
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for addressing complex codebase management issues
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and languages as tooling needs change
Qualifications
- Experience working with JavaScript or TypeScript
