Wise seeks a Senior iOS Engineer II for its Account Mobile team in London. This on-site role involves designing and implementing cohesive, responsive mobile features for Wise Account users, helping customers manage multi-currency needs effortlessly. The engineer will partner with product managers, designers, and analytics specialists to develop high-quality tools that drive the application's homepage and money-management features.
The successful candidate will join a community of over sixty mobile engineers, influencing app-wide architecture and maintaining high code quality. Responsibilities include planning and scoping native applications, ensuring robust app performance and stability, and collaborating across cross-functional groups on company-wide technical initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Plan, scope, and build consistent experiences across native applications and the web
- Partner with product, design, analytics, and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features
- Take ownership of the overall health, performance, load times, and stability of the iOS project
- Collaborate with mobile engineers to keep the iOS codebase current, clean, and maintainable
- Engage with mobile engineering peers to influence app-wide standards and code quality
Requirements
- Demonstrated background in launching customer-delighting applications
- Proficiency in Swift development
- Familiarity with software architectural patterns such as MVC, MVVM, or VIPER
- Commitment to writing testable code
