Job Description

Twilio is recruiting a Senior Learning Experience Designer for its Learning Experience Design unit, which supports the go-to-market organization. The role is remote but cannot be filled in California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, or Washington. Travel of roughly 15 percent is anticipated for in-person connection.

The designer creates learning for the global sales force. Deliverables include AI-supported learning paths, role-play exercises in which reps rehearse with generative AI personas, and interactive practice for scenarios such as handling objections and running discovery calls. The designer also produces just-in-time support material, such as FAQs and playbooks, that lives inside the tools sellers already use, including CRM and messaging apps.

Further work involves linking learning paths with seller skills, product releases, and selling frameworks, tailoring content by tenure and job family, and establishing automated feedback on recorded pitches and calls. The designer also maintains prompt libraries and guidelines for AI design tools and watches onboarding speed, tool uptake, and quota results.

Background in instructional design, LXD, or sales enablement is required, ideally at a fast-moving B2B software company, along with advanced skill in prompting large language models and hands-on use of AI media tools.

Responsibilities

  • Apply AI writing tools and large language models to sketch, revise, and polish course content and scenarios
  • Build AI-driven role-play simulations in which sales representatives rehearse realistic customer conversations
  • Design just-in-time support, such as FAQs and playbooks, inside the tools sellers use
  • Turn complex product and market information into clear, actionable learning
  • Design personalized learning paths based on tenure, role, performance data, and skill gaps
  • Set up AI-based feedback loops that evaluate pitches, call recordings, and written communication
  • Measure learning outcomes, tool uptake, onboarding speed, and quota results to refine programs

Requirements

  • Earlier work in instructional design, LXD, or sales enablement, ideally at a fast-moving B2B software or technology firm
  • Advanced prompt engineering with large language models for curriculum, scenario, and content work
  • Intermediate experience with AI-enhanced learning or AI role-play platforms
  • Hands-on work with AI media generators for voice, video, and imagery
  • Advanced skill with authoring software and with AI add-ons for it
  • A portfolio of application-driven content
  • Persuasive copywriting and visual communication aimed at high-performing sellers

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with how B2B deals progress, who the buyers are, and which revenue measures matter
  • An early-adopter attitude toward new technology that cuts repetitive work

Core Skills

Benefits

  • Health insurance
  • 401(k) savings plan
  • Sick days and personal time off with pay, plus paid leave for new parents
  • Possible eligibility for equity and the corporate bonus plan
