Dandy is a company developing digital infrastructure for dental practices worldwide, backed by major venture capital investors. The firm is currently seeking a Senior Manager, Finance Systems (Canada) to take charge of strategy, implementation, and system optimization across its financial technology environment. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance Systems, this position requires an individual who can balance hands-on technical configuration with team leadership.
The person in this role will initially focus on NetSuite administration before expanding oversight to encompass record-to-report, procure-to-pay, and order-to-cash processes. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity suitable for a functional and technical professional who thrives in a fast-moving, high-growth startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Shape and define the vision, structure, and growth paths for the Finance Systems function
- Design and optimize tools, methodologies, and processes for NetSuite and other financial applications
- Enforce best practices relating to security, data integrity, user management, testing, and deployment
- Direct and oversee internal and external technical resources responsible for API integrations and NetSuite SuiteScript development
- Promote data-driven decision making and reporting capabilities across the broader finance organization
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience leading or managing projects within finance systems in a high-growth environment
- Minimum of 7 years working directly with core finance systems across accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, procurement, and order management
- Extensive hands-on administrative and configuration experience with NetSuite
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications for system integrations and data flows
- Track record of scaling existing finance systems or implementing new ones to accommodate business growth
Qualifications
- Prior work history within a mid-sized, rapidly growing company
- Active NetSuite Administrator certification
- Background in the manufacturing sector
- Familiarity with record-to-report, procure-to-pay, and order-to-cash workflows
- Experience directing both internal staff and external technical vendors
- Proficiency with data visualization applications such as Hex or Looker
