Affirm is seeking a Senior Manager, Programs - Global Expansion and New Initiatives to spearhead the evolution of its global customer operations strategy for international markets, new product lines, and alternative channels. Operating remotely from Canada, this full-time role places you at the intersection of business strategy and execution, where you will shape ambiguous problem spaces into structured operating frameworks and repeatable global playbooks. You will lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team spanning program management and service delivery, while driving large-scale cross-functional initiatives across international servicing landscapes.

This position is well-suited for an experienced operations leader with a strong background in financial services and consumer lending who excels at influencing senior stakeholders, establishing governance structures, and managing post-launch performance across multiple geographies. Responsibilities

  • Formulate the strategy and roadmap for Customer Operations scaling across international expansions, new products, merchants, and channels
  • Establish operational frameworks, success criteria, and objectives for initiatives spanning multiple regions
  • Lead, mentor, and direct a team across multiple disciplines such as program management and continuous improvement
  • Manage large-scale cross-functional programs covering merchant launches, automation, and new-product scaling
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Risk, Training, and Service Delivery teams through the full program lifecycle
  • Direct portfolio-level governance including working groups and business reviews to steer decision-making and issue resolution
  • Oversee post-launch operational performance for the international portfolio and supply performance transparency to global business teams

Requirements

  • Possess twelve or more years of relevant professional experience
  • Bring at least five years of experience leading teams or managing other managers and senior professionals
  • Demonstrate functional expertise in customer care, fraud operations, and/or merchant operations
  • Reside in one of the eligible Canadian provinces: Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, or Saskatchewan

Qualifications

  • Hold a Project Management Professional certification
  • Hold a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
  • Bring experience delivering programs across multiple geographic markets
  • Possess a background in consumer lending or financial services
