Affirm is seeking a remote Staff Product Manager to lead Consumer Growth Loyalty and build a brand-new consumer rewards initiative from the ground up. Affirm provides transparent financial products designed to help individuals manage their money with predictability and no hidden fees. In this role, the successful candidate will establish the strategy and roadmap for the customer loyalty ecosystem, determining earn structures, member tiers, and redemption options across mobile applications, checkout flows, and post-purchase experiences.

This opportunity is well-suited for a product leader who enjoys navigating ambiguity while collaborating closely with engineering, design, risk, legal, and finance departments. Responsibilities include shaping program economics, driving engagement loops like milestones and personalized offers, and setting up rigorous measurement frameworks using holdouts and incrementality testing. Affirm operates as a remote-first organization, offering flexibility and comprehensive support for eligible employees across the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the strategic vision and quarterly sequencing for the consumer loyalty program
  • Launch initial reward structures, tier progression, member benefits, and redemption pathways
  • Establish retention loops such as milestones, progress tracking, and personalized incentives
  • Manage financial aspects including reward liabilities, funding mixes, and incremental gross merchandise value
  • Partner with cross-functional teams spanning Risk, Credit, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Marketing
  • Guide embedded engineering and design squads through complex execution phases

Requirements

  • Possess at least eight years of product management experience
  • Demonstrate a background working in consumer mobile applications, fintech, or neobanks
  • Have built or scaled a rewards, points, tier-based, or subscription loyalty program
  • Show a history of releasing new products from scratch
  • Bring experience managing repeat usage, share of wallet, or cohort retention metrics
  • Examine and defend financial models and payback calculations to leadership

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in a related field or possess equivalent practical experience
