Job Description
This is a full-time, on-site leadership post on the cross-functional team that runs a sub-domain within SEEK Pass and SEEK. The lead helps define the sub-domain's goals and direction, sets targets for its squads, settles disputes between teams and makes sure sound working practices are in place throughout.
The job blends people management with operations. The lead mentors and develops staff, nurtures an inclusive environment and creates progression paths. It also means understanding operations in depth, using operational and data findings to guide priorities, spotting system-wide efficiency gains, and standardising how new features, credentials and other launches are planned, tested, released and expanded. The lead oversees hiring and onboarding for operations roles, allocates capacity across squads, and makes sure the area complies with applicable laws, duties and standard procedures.
Candidates should have led teams, coached people and built high-performing groups, and have scaled operations in a start-up.
