Alloy is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join its team on a full-time basis, offering a base salary between $165,000 and $215,000 per year. In this role, the designer will take charge of core product workflows, determining critical user problems and guiding solutions from initial concept through public release. Responsibilities span discovering user needs, shaping roadmaps alongside product managers, and partnering with engineers to deliver consumer-grade business software. Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end product features covering fraud policies, case investigations, and threat responses across multiple systems
- Identify important user behavioral changes, establish theories of success, and measure progress through data
- Define roadmaps and workflows in collaboration with Product Managers to release incremental value
- Utilize whiteboards, presentation decks, Figma, or code to reach outcomes rapidly
- Collaborate with engineering teams from initial concept to release, conducting accessibility and quality assurance checks
- Plan feature rollouts, gather feedback from early adopters, and transition capabilities to general availability
- Improve craft standards in information architecture, interaction design, visual design, and UX writing while evolving the internal design system
Requirements
- Minimum of seven years of product design experience focusing on complex B2B or data-heavy products with difficult automation flows
- Background spanning the complete design lifecycle from user research and prototyping to interaction design and usability testing
- Portfolio demonstrating simplified solutions to intricate problems, product judgment, and attention to detail
- Familiarity with technical concepts including semantic HTML, design systems, and accessibility guidelines
- Ability to form viewpoints, adapt quickly to new information, and guide cross-functional partners without formal authority
- Low-ego, team-oriented approach with curiosity and openness to feedback
Qualifications
- Experience designing for fintech, financial services, or other regulated industries
- Background working within early or growth-stage startup environments
- Hands-on practice building with AI-assisted design or coding tools
- Degree in design or a related discipline
