Alloy is currently seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join its pre-sales division on a remote basis. The platform provides identity and fraud prevention technology designed to streamline onboarding and scale compliance for financial companies and fintech organizations. In this position, candidates will partner closely with account executives to guide clients through the sales cycle. The successful applicant will manage technical hurdles, lead custom platform demonstrations, establish user acceptance testing environments, and design proof of concept projects while handling architecture and security reviews.
This role acts as a bridge between engineering, sales, product development, and professional services teams. The compensation package includes an anticipated base salary ranging from USD 160,000 to USD 185,000 per year, structured around a base and variable compensation split, alongside employee stock options and extensive employee perks.
Responsibilities
- Partner with account executives to address technical customer needs and close deals
- Build and present custom product demonstrations for prospective clients
- Create and manage user acceptance testing environments
- Design and oversee proof of concept exercises
- Conduct security and architecture reviews
- Scope proposed technological solutions prior to implementation handoff
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working in a technical pre-sales capacity such as a Solutions Engineer or Sales Consultant
- Background supporting complex enterprise-level sales motions
- Experience dealing with identity and fraud topics within banking or fintech sectors
- Ability to read and comprehend object-oriented code
- Familiarity utilizing APIs and making API calls through tools like cURL or Postman
- Strong presentation skills to communicate technical ideas to business and technical audiences
Qualifications
- Experience interpreting scripting or coding
- Familiarity with AWS components including single or multi-tenant setups, SSO, resiliency, and encryption
- Prior practice in building and executing proof of concepts utilizing large datasets
