Job Description
Wrapbook operates an artificial intelligence platform designed for production finance, assisting television, feature film, and commercial production teams with accounting, spending, and payroll management. Backed by notable investors and serving major entertainment clients, the enterprise employs a workforce exceeding 350 individuals. The organization seeks a remote Senior Product Manager II to oversee both the fraud and identity authentication domains across the complete customer lifecycle.
This position suits an experienced product professional who enjoys thinking like a bad actor to design countermeasures, prioritizes shipping roadmaps over analysis, and thrives in a hands-on environment collaborating directly alongside software engineers. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Product Management for Onboarding and Lifecycle, this role unifies fraud prevention, detection, and response with user verification and protection.
The chosen individual will guide fraud operations, direct scoring logic, manage compliance-adjacent technologies related to anti-money laundering and know-your-customer regulations, and act as an incident commander during security events. The role requires strong written communication skills tailored for a remote-first work environment, as well as the ability to push back on stakeholders using concrete evidence.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive product strategy and roadmaps encompassing fraud prevention, detection, and response across the entire customer lifecycle
- Prioritize and sequence joint fraud and identity roadmaps while weighing dependencies across multiple team backlogs
- Collaborate directly with engineers on database schemas and scoring logic to differentiate useful signals from ineffective ones
- Author clear, decisive recommendation documents that transition analysis into shipped work
- Serve as incident commander for security incidents by coordinating engineering, client operations, GRC, treasury, and security teams
- Establish and track primary health metrics covering detection accuracy, friction generation, and authentication coverage
- Partner with legal and governance, risk, and compliance teams regarding anti-money laundering and know-your-customer workflows
Requirements
- Prior ownership of a risk, fraud, or identity product surface within a marketplace, fintech, or payments company
- Demonstrated understanding of detection trade-offs, false positive costs, and friction budgets
- Experience working directly with engineering personnel on schemas and scoring logic
- Background in running or co-running incident response operations
- Demonstrated experience building or working with artificial intelligence to boost fraud lifecycle speed and accuracy
- Track record of writing decision documents that resulted in shipped products
- Experience making build or buy decisions concerning fraud platforms
- Authorization to work in the United States or Canada without visa sponsorship
Qualifications
- Advanced financial industry certifications such as CPA, CFA, or Certified Fraud Examiner
- Background in payments, payroll, or money movement operations
- Domain knowledge regarding know-your-customer, anti-money laundering, or vendor and API fraud
- Hands-on experience utilizing Auth0 or comparable identity management platforms
- Exposure to AI-generated and synthetic identity fraud patterns
