Job Description
Wrapbook serves as an AI platform designed for production finance, providing a system of action that helps finance teams manage payroll, spending, and accounting across feature films, television, and commercials. Backed by prominent investors, the company employs over 350 people aiming to transform financial operations through artificial intelligence.
The organization is currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer II, Applied AI to join its Agentic Systems team on a remote basis within the United States or Canada. In this role, the engineer will construct AI agents that automate multi-step workflows, collaborating directly with internal departments such as Marketing, Sales, Support, Operations, and Finance. Key duties involve designing production-grade agents, integrating them with internal and third-party systems, establishing observability frameworks, and driving organizational adoption.
This position requires a minimum of six years of back-end development experience using Python, TypeScript/Node.js, or Java, alongside practical background in delivering LLM-powered agents or workflows. The ideal candidate brings a security-first mindset, strong communication skills to gather requirements from non-technical colleagues, and comfort with ambiguity. Experience running AWS workloads or using Amazon Bedrock AgentCore serves as a helpful addition. Responsibilities
- Design and build production-grade AI agents using LangGraph to automate multi-step workflows for internal departments
- Deploy, run, and scale agents on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore while monitoring operational costs
- Partner with internal teams to identify high-impact workflows and translate requirements into agent-driven solutions
- Integrate agents with internal systems, APIs, and third-party tools to enable automated actions
- Build evaluation, observability, and guardrail frameworks to measure quality and maintain human oversight
- Establish reusable patterns, shared tools, and best practices for the Agentic Systems team
- Own agents across their entire lifecycle from prototype to production and iterate based on usage data
- Drive adoption through documentation, training, and enablement for internal users
Requirements
- 6+ years of back-end development experience with Python, TypeScript/Node.js, or Java
- Hands-on experience building and shipping LLM-powered agents or workflows with models such as Claude, GPT, Llama, or Mistral
- Production experience with at least one agent or LLM framework like LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or AutoGen
- Understanding of AI architectures including RAG, reranking, and multi-agent orchestration
- Security-first mindset focused on data access, permissions, and failure modes
- Strong product sense and communication skills for working directly with non-technical teams
- Comfort with ambiguity and an ownership mentality to guide projects from idea to production independently
- Authorized to work in the country of performance without visa sponsorship or transfer
Qualifications
- Experience running AWS workloads in production
- Familiarity designing for, deploying on, and utilizing Amazon services including Amazon Bedrock AgentCore
