Instacart is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the Retailer App Platform and Insights team on a remote basis. In this role, you will shape how major global retailers manage and scale their digital storefronts through the company's white-label e-commerce platform. You will direct the Retailer App as a scalable platform, focusing on consumer-grade ease of use, feature discovery, self-service tools, and reusable components that allow other internal product teams to build efficiently. Additionally, you will oversee analytics and insights products, converting complex retailer data into actionable intelligence and AI-driven growth recommendations.

This position is well-suited for an experienced product leader with a strong background in enterprise platforms and B2B software who thrives on ambiguity and can drive projects from conception to launch. You will collaborate closely with engineering, design, and data science partners while engaging directly with enterprise partners to design scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design an intuitive and cohesive end-to-end user experience for the Retailer App platform
  • Promote feature discovery and adoption for the Storefront Pro capabilities suite
  • Develop self-service features that give retailers more autonomy and control over their storefront configurations
  • Create reusable components, design templates, and governance frameworks to help internal product teams ship consistently
  • Build analytics tools that give retailers performance visibility across commerce, content, and products
  • Deliver personalized, data-driven growth recommendations and automated, AI-powered workflows
  • Formulate multi-half product visions, strategies, and roadmaps aligned with measurable outcomes
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives independently through ambiguity from strategy to launch
  • Engage directly with leading enterprise retailers to validate solutions and gather feedback

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of B2B product management experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience building platform products
  • Demonstrated intuition for simplifying complex customer workflows with strong UX judgment
  • Experience designing scalable platforms, shared capabilities, and enablement frameworks
  • Proven ability to execute independently, manage ambiguity, and ship complex products quickly
  • Cross-functional leadership skills to align stakeholders and influence teams without direct authority
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities with effective communication skills

Qualifications

  • Experience building B2B SaaS platforms or enterprise business workflow applications
  • Background in e-commerce, retail technology, content management systems, or site-building platforms
  • Experience developing analytics, business intelligence, or recommendation products
  • Familiarity utilizing AI to generate proactive or automated product experiences
  • Experience working with configuration platforms, developer enablement tools, or B2B self-service features
