The position requires deep expertise in security architecture, compliance standards, and operational environments, along with a strong understanding of artificial intelligence-assisted security operations and threat intelligence platforms. Ideal candidates bring a background in solution architecture, sales engineering, or security architecture, coupled with familiarity with government procurement processes and agency stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Design integrations with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, case management, and cloud security technologies for federal, defense, and state or local government clients
  • Build, package, and maintain reusable use cases and reference architectures for threat intelligence, automation, and collective defense
  • Provide advisory expertise on compliance and accreditation frameworks including FedRAMP High, NIST 800-53, CMMC, IL5, and GovRAMP
  • Develop demonstrations and narratives to communicate value propositions to technical and executive decision-makers
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to test emerging capabilities, particularly AI and agentic features
  • Enable sales engineering, technical delivery, and customer success teams through reusable technical assets and best practices
  • Support strategic deals through planning, architecture, execution, and the creation of clear documentation and models
  • Handle log management and analytics platforms in production environments for deployment, tuning, and integration
  • Partner with sales, product, and technical alliances to shape responses to requests for proposals, information, and security questionnaires
  • Manage technical relationships with agency stakeholders, systems integrators, and government resellers
  • Guide customers on threat modeling, intelligence-driven defense, data governance, indicator lifecycle management, and false-positive reduction
  • Conduct technical discovery workshops and gap analyses to understand customer workflows and define success plans

Requirements

  • Hold US citizenship in accordance with federal requirements
  • Bring 10 or more years of professional experience in solution architecture, sales engineering, or security architecture with federal cybersecurity deployments
  • Possess at least 3 years of direct security solution architecture experience spanning infrastructure, systems, application, or security solutions
  • Demonstrate experience responding to and architecting for government requests for proposals and information
  • Maintain an active or eligible federal security clearance, or the ability to obtain one
  • Have strong knowledge of cyber threat intelligence, incident response, and vulnerability management frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, the Cyber Kill Chain, and the Diamond Model
  • Demonstrate hands-on experience designing security automation and security orchestration, automation, and response workflows
  • Possess experience developing automation scripts, playbooks, and REST API integrations using Python
  • Show familiarity with enterprise security ecosystems, network architecture, operating system concepts, and IT security fundamentals

Qualifications
