Job Description

This position involves hands-on system design, establishing technical standards, and scaling reliability practices for native applications spanning iPhone, iPad, and managed corporate settings. The individual will collaborate across multiple teams to create durable mobile-facing system contracts, improve release quality, and incorporate AI-enabled engineering validation.

Candidates should bring strong expertise in modern production iOS architecture along with sufficient backend and cross-functional familiarity to unblock mobile outcomes and guide integrated system decisions. Experience with enterprise environments, Apple-platform form factors, or mobile design systems is considered advantageous.

Responsibilities

Establish the technical direction for iOS and mobile-facing systems to ensure speed, security, reliability, and maintainability across teams
Design and build durable production architecture through hands-on iOS expertise
Define automation, observability, rollout strategies, and AI-enabled validation protocols to scale reliability and execution practices
Create system contracts and ownership boundaries so mobile-facing systems can evolve without pushing hidden complexity to native clients
Mentor engineering teams and translate complex mobile-system challenges into reusable standards and technical judgment

Requirements

Demonstrated mastery in modern production iOS architecture with a history of driving technical standards beyond a single feature team
Proficiency in mobile platform principles rooted in iOS alongside enough Android knowledge to influence cross-functional decisions affecting identity, reliability, and release quality
Background in designing mobile platform contracts or backend service boundaries that enhance product quality across native and adjacent client surfaces
Capability to read, troubleshoot, and contribute to backend systems to clear obstacles for mobile outcomes
Familiarity with building AI-enabled engineering systems that elevate validation, product quality, and delivery confidence
Demonstrated reliability and release-quality judgment for production mobile systems across multiple initiatives
Strong product intuition and communication skills to connect technical choices to user results

Qualifications

Experience developing Apple-platform product experiences across diverse form factors such as iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, or CarPlay
Background in enterprise mobile environments involving device management, identity, compliance, or security constraints including MDM and MAM
Experience shaping mobile design-system foundations and design-to-code workflows to boost consistency, accessibility, and AI-assisted UI generation
