Coinbase is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to join the Financial Services & Loyalty team within the Consumer & Business group. In this remote position, the engineer will build and release user-facing features for card, payments, and loyalty offerings utilized by millions of people. Responsibilities encompass creating end-to-end frontend experiences across web and mobile applications, including onboarding flows, transaction interfaces, reward systems, and payment mechanisms. The professional will collaborate alongside product managers, designers, and backend engineering colleagues to deliver reliable, fast, and intuitive user journeys.

Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end frontend solutions on web and mobile platforms for financial services offerings utilizing React and React Native
- Create new features that broaden the utility of card and loyalty programs through high-quality code implementation
- Execute experimentation and funnel optimization initiatives to enhance conversion, activation, and retention metrics
- Coordinate with product, design, and backend engineering units to convert project specifications into performant interfaces
- Detect and eliminate frontend performance roadblocks to improve customer journey latency and availability objectives
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of software engineering experience focusing heavily on React and React Native frontend development
- Demonstrated history of guiding features independently from initial technical design through to production deployment
- Background in utilizing experimentation frameworks and optimizing user funnels
- Ability to work effectively across cross-functional product, design, and backend teams
