Job Description

The Engineering group seeks a Software Engineer I to create full-stack services, engage with distributed systems, and combine standard software creation practices with AI-driven development. In this role, team members ship features, participate in architectural design talks, and utilize AI methodologies to elevate personal and team productivity.
This position suits a developer eager to expand their expertise in cloud infrastructure, application code enhancement, and artificial intelligence integration. Professionals joining the team collaborate closely with product management and fellow engineers to make technical trade-offs regarding building, refactoring, or simplifying code.
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable front-end and back-end applications using technologies such as Kotlin, Java, TypeScript, and React
- Address distributed systems challenges utilizing modern cloud platforms including AWS and Kubernetes
- Participate in code reviews and architectural planning sessions alongside product managers and fellow engineers
- Partner closely with product management and other business areas
- Update application code with new functionality while evaluating technical choices
- Utilize artificial intelligence tools to boost individual and team performance during design, testing, coding, and troubleshooting
- Explore AI integration avenues within team workflows and coach peers on effective AI usage
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of software development experience creating highly scalable and available applications
- Minimum of one year of programming experience utilizing full-stack technologies like Java, Kotlin, Python, or TypeScript
- Minimum of one year of working experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure
- Experience in developing, documenting, and supporting REST APIs
- At least six months of professional experience using AI to increase personal productivity while building complex SaaS features
- Legal authorization to work in the United States on an ongoing basis
