During the program, interns will tackle large-scale technical problems involving web-scale applications and blockchain technology. Participants will write production code that influences millions of users while working alongside designers, product managers, and other engineers. The internship centers on developing crypto-forward products and features across various domains, including Base, Consumer, Developer, Institutional, Platform, Security, Enterprise AI, and Enterprise Engineering.

Responsibilities
- Write production-ready, well-tested code that impacts Coinbase customers
- Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to transform technical and product visions into completed features
- Engage in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback
- Take end-to-end ownership of a defined project from scoping through implementation and launch during the 12-week internship
- Learn and apply blockchain and crypto domain concepts to real production engineering problems
Requirements
- Demonstrate the ability to responsibly use generative AI tools and copilots in daily workflows while maintaining human-in-the-loop practices
- Possess programming experience in any language through academic work, personal projects, or professional settings
- Demonstrate the ability to decompose ambiguous problems into concrete implementation steps
- Show familiarity with at least one area including backend systems, mobile development, web development, or infrastructure
