The organization is currently seeking a Solutions Architect - PubSec to join the team on a full-time basis.
In this position, you will act as a primary technical advisor for prospects and customers, guiding them through complex evaluations and software development lifecycle transformations. Working alongside Account Executives and regional sales teams across APJ, you will demonstrate how the AI-driven DevSecOps platform aligns with technical requirements and business objectives. Your first year will center on driving successful platform adoption, executing technical evaluations, and building collaborative relationships with both technical practitioners and business stakeholders.
This role suits professionals with pre-sales, consulting, or customer-facing technical experience who possess a solid grasp of modern software delivery, cloud platforms, and continuous integration workflows. As part of a distributed team, you will also contribute field insights to product and engineering groups to help shape future roadmap priorities.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with regional sales teams to design technical account strategies that expand pipeline and growth opportunities
- Conduct technical discovery sessions, software demonstrations, and validation activities across the development lifecycle
- Lead technical evaluations such as proofs of concept, proofs of value, solution designs, and workshops
- Formulate solution architectures that connect platform capabilities to customer environments and operating models
- Advise customers regarding continuous integration, deployment, security practices, and cloud adoption
- Foster connections with technical practitioners and business stakeholders to accelerate decision timelines
- Produce reusable technical assets and collateral to assist future customer and partner engagements
- Share field feedback and market observations with product management, engineering, sales, and marketing departments
Requirements
- Experience in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar customer-facing positions
- Ability to execute proofs of concept, proofs of value, workshops, tenders, audits, or value stream assessments
- Working familiarity with the end-to-end software development lifecycle, continuous integration, and deployment workflows
- Hands-on background with GitLab or alternative DevSecOps and software delivery platforms
- Clear communication skills capable of tailoring technical messages for diverse audiences
Qualifications
- Interest in continuous learning and developing expertise in GitLab, AI, and related cloud technologies
- Familiarity with cloud platforms or self-managed environments
