The full-time, on-site Senior Manager role based in the United States calls for a finance transformation leader to build, grow and automate the finance systems behind Elastic's marketplace activity with hyperscalers. This leader links the corporate finance group with sales operations and product engineering, and works on quote-to-cash and revenue recognition as private offers and co-sell activity expand across AWS, GCP and Azure.
Much of the technical effort is integration. Partnering with IT and product engineering, the manager ties hyperscaler portals to finance applications like NetSuite, Salesforce and Zuora, and links partner APIs and marketplace management tools such as Tackle.io to finance platforms. Automating complicated transactions, such as CPPO and MPPO private offers and custom metering, is part of the mandate.
On accounting, the manager defines how deferred revenue, gross-versus-net accounting and ASC 606 apply to marketplace deductions and listing charges. Transaction-level models match payouts and remittance advice to internal sales contracts. Keeping the data model for marketplace activity current falls to the manager, who also ensures billing and payout feeds land in reporting warehouses dependably.

- Define the financial data model and build pipelines into reporting warehouses
- Set standards for deferred revenue, gross-versus-net accounting and ASC 606
- Keep listing-fee tracking and transaction accuracy on target, and handle unstructured reseller data
- Lead acceptance testing and write SOPs when marketplace capabilities launch
Requirements
- Grounding in accounting operations, finance systems or management consulting for tech companies
- Hands-on history with finance operations, billing setup or billing reconciliation for apps sold on AWS, GCP or Azure marketplaces
- Record of leading large software integrations or quote-to-cash changes at B2B SaaS or enterprise technology firms
- Familiarity with cloud partner portals and marketplace monetization middleware
- Strong command of ERP and revenue recognition platforms
- Working skill in SQL or BI tools to cut and reshape unstructured billing data
